Terms of use
These terms cover joining the Hirable list and, once it opens, membership of Hirable. Please read them alongside our privacy policy.

1. What Hirable is
Hirable helps people in the UK find jobs at startups. You tell us the roles you're interested in, whether you want remote or hybrid work, and where you are in your career. We send you a daily list of UK startups hiring for those roles, alert you when a matching role opens, and draft outreach emails for you to edit and send yourself. Every role comes straight from the company's own careers page.
Hirable is independent. We are not an employer, a recruitment agency or an agent of any startup we list, and listing a startup doesn't mean it endorses Hirable.
2. Joining the list
Joining the list is free and doesn't commit you to anything. You give us your email address and your preferences, and we'll email you when Hirable opens. You must be 16 or over to join with your own email address. You can leave the list at any time.
3. Membership, trial and prices
- Standard membership costs £8 a month or £60 a year, including any VAT that applies.
- New members get a 3 day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won't be charged.
- After the trial, you're charged at the start of each monthly or yearly billing period until you cancel.
- We'll show you the price and get your agreement before taking any payment. No payment is taken from anyone on the list until they choose to subscribe.
4. The founding offer
The first 20 people to start a paid membership get the founding price of £5 a month. That price is fixed for as long as the membership stays active without a break. If a founding membership is cancelled or lapses, the founding price ends and can't be restored. Founding places are allocated in the order paid memberships start, and the offer can't be swapped for cash or transferred to someone else.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel any time from your account or by following the link in any email we send you. Cancelling stops future payments, and you keep alerts until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from the day you subscribe to change your mind. If you cancel within those 14 days we'll refund you, minus a fair amount for any alerts already provided in that time.
6. What we do and don't promise
We work hard to find roles quickly and accurately, but we rely on what startups publish. Startups can change, pause or remove roles without notice, and some roles may not be published in a way we can find. So we can't promise that every role will be caught, or caught within a particular time, and a listing or alert is never a guarantee that a role is still open or that you'll be eligible. Always check the details with the startup before you apply.
Hirable doesn't apply for jobs on your behalf, can't promise a reply from any founder, and has no influence over any startup's hiring decisions.
7. Outreach emails
Outreach drafts are suggestions. Hirable never sends them. Approving a draft just saves it so you can copy it or open it in your own email app, and you choose who to send it to. You're responsible for what you send, so please read it carefully and make sure everything in it is true.
8. Using Hirable fairly
Please don't misuse the service: no signing other people up without their agreement, no automated or bulk sign ups, no approving outreach that is misleading or abusive, and no attempts to interfere with the site or copy its data. We may close accounts that break these rules.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for missed opportunities caused by a startup's site being unavailable, changed or unreadable. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Hirable develops. If a change affects your membership, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you don't agree.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
