We keep this short and plain. We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are
Hirable ("we", "us") runs this website and the Hirable startup jobs service. We are the controller of the personal data described here, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect

We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is your light or dark mode choice, which never leaves your device. Our fonts are served from this site, so no third party learns about your visit when a page loads.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent to email you about Hirable, which you give by joining the list. When you become a paying member, we rely on contract to provide the alerts you pay for. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or using the form below.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data, and we never share it with a startup or founder. Outreach emails go from your own email, so you decide what they see. We use a small number of service providers to run Hirable:
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores sign ups and your list, and runs the AI model (Cloudflare Workers AI) that writes outreach drafts from the role and anything you tell us.
- An email delivery provider will send your daily lists and alerts once email alerts are switched on.
- A payment provider will take payments once paid plans open. We will never see or store your full card details.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to protect it.
How long we keep it
If you join the list and never become a member, we delete your details 24 months after you joined, or sooner if you ask. If you become a member, we keep your details while your membership is active and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless the law requires us to keep billing records for longer.
Under 18s
Hirable is designed for people aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or carer to sign up on your behalf using their own email address.
Your rights
You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to take a copy with you. Send a request with the form below and we'll respond within one month.
Thanks. We've logged your request and will reply to that email address within one month. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm the request from that address first.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change to this policy we'll update the date at the top and, if it affects you, email you before it takes effect.
